Here’s some info on Samfrey Digital and what we’re all about.
Who are you?
Hi! I’m Andy and Samfrey Digital is ……… just me at the moment. I’m based in Glasgow, Scotland. The company name is a highly original portmanteau of the names of my two kids 🙂
What do you do?
I’m an SEO Specialist and have been for the last (gulp) 17 years or so.
What sort of SEO services do you provide etc?
Well, like everything in SEO ‘it depends’ on each individual scenario. I can tailor my service to match each individual case. Whether you need an actionable Technical SEO audit that’s easy to follow, a content strategy that’s aligned with your aims as a business or detailed keyword research for your market niche or product, I believe I can help improve your organic visibility.
Why should I trust you?
Again, great question. I guess it boils down to my level of experience in having dealt with a wide variety of scenarios. I’ve worked in a few SEO roles, from a junior to manager and head of SEO. Working in small businesses, large agencies and in-house roles – on websites with a few pages to those with a few hundred thousand and more. I’ve also covered a broad range of client niches, working with brands that are household names to smaller up and coming companies. Of course, experience isn’t the be all and end all, especially in a field as fast-moving as SEO – but fortunately I’ve managed to deliver results.
What industries have you worked in?
My primary experience is probably in the auto industry, having worked in-house for the biggest car dealer group in the UK and one of the leading car leasing websites – so this is a niche i’m very familiar with. However, I also have extensive experience within the travel sector, including time with adventure travel, walking and cycling holiday businesses as well as some large hotel groups and ferry companies. Although these are the main niches I’ve worked in, I also have experience with E-commerce sites in the fashion, home furnishing and entertainment niches – and many more besides. It’s certainly been a journey.
Who do you like to work with?
I’ve always been a believer in the old ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you‘ so it goes without saying that I like working with good people that are keen to invest in the SEO process to get results. I’m especially keen to help local businesses in the Glasgow area, however, I’m not really fussed where you’re based – SEO knows no boundaries. Also, as you’ve no doubt gathered, I have quite an informal nature, so if this isn’t for you best to look elsewhere for help probably.

Can you guarantee position 1 Google Rankings for my target keywords?
Yes! Of course I can. Actually, no, i can’t. Sorry about that. But, in all seriousness, no-one can. There are so many variables within the Google algorithm in each individual niche that it’s impossible to guarantee no1 rankings, and anyone that does is probably not to be trusted 😁. However, it’s not impossible with the right strategy and implementation.
